Earn a Professional Development Certificate while you learn at ULI education events

Choose from two certificate tracks: the Real Estate Development Certificate or the Real Estate Development Finance Certificate.
 
Professional Development Certificates



Just Follow These Three Steps:

Step One

Complete the Professional Development Certificate Application Form.

Step Two

Attend ULI professional development courses and events as outlined on this page. Courses and events are held throughout the United States. They include core four-day Real Estate School courses; one- and two-day in-person workshops; and on-demand online workshops and webinars.

Step Three

Successfully complete the ULI examination on the textbook Real Estate Development: Principles and Process, Third Edition or Fourth Edition. This exam can be taken during or after completion of the program.
 
Complete the Following Requirements to Receive Your Certificate:

Option One

Real Estate Development Certificate
  1. Attend Three Real Estate School development Courses:
    • The Real Estate Development Process: Part I (32 hours)
    • The Real Estate Development Process: Part II (32 hours)
    • Advanced Development Process: Residential or Commercial (32 hours)
  2. Complete an additional 32 hours of elective ULI professional development instruction through workshops, webinars, or an additional four-day Real Estate School course.
  3. Pass the ULI Certificate Exam

Option Two

Real Estate Finance Certificate
  1. Attend Three Real Estate School finance courses
    • Real Estate Finance I (32 hours)
    • Real Estate Finance II (32 hours)
    • Advanced Real Estate Finance (32 hours)
  2. Complete an additional 32 hours of elective ULI professional development instruction through workshops, webinars, or an additional four-day Real Estate School course. 
  3. Pass the ULI Certificate

Completion Requirements:

  • Proof of attendance within a four-year period.
  • Successful completion of the examination.
